Sveriges Television, SVT, broadcasts an average of 60 hours every day on five TV channels. SVT is also available on svt.se, on you cell phone, SVT Europa, SVT HD and SVT Text. SVT is stationed in 29 communities around the country, providing everyone with a credible, independent and commercial- fee selection. We call that Free Television.

With SVT Play, you can see many of SVT’s programmes when it suits you. Most of the Swedish-produced programmes and drama series can be seen on svt.se up to 30 days after they have been sent on TV. This service is called SVT Play and has been a great success – as of today, the viewers watch about three million programmes and clips, every week! More than 2 000 hours are laid out on SVT Play, which makes it Sweden’s largest TV-service on the Internet.
