For those paying a radio and TV fee
Your radio and TV fee has been cancelled automatically on 31 December 2018. Until then, the current rules apply, and it is therefore important that you pay invoices that you have already received even if the fee period extends beyond the year-end. We will make sure you are reimbursed for the part that relates to 2019. In other words, you do not need to contact Radiotjänst to terminate your radio and TV fee or for any reimbursement.
NOTE! If you have received an invoice batch with multiple inpayment forms, you should not pay invoices with a due date in 2019.
If you have already paid the radio and TV fee for a period after 31 December 2018, you will be reimbursed the excess amount. Reimbursements will be made progressively starting in January 2019 as follows:
If you have previously registered a bank account – regardless of what bank you have – with Swedbank's account records, the money will be deposited in this account. You may be included in the account records if you have received payments in the form of salary, pension and other compensation from businesses, insurance companies, authorities or municipalities etc. that use this payment service.
If you did not register for reimbursement, you will receive the money on a money order that can be redeemed at a bank or other agent. Keep in mind that redemption using a money order will entail an extra fee at most banks and agents.
If you have an ongoing matter with Radiotjänst
If you are involved in an ongoing matter concerning your radio and TV fee, you must stay in touch with Radiotjänst, including during 2019. This may concern payment reminders, appeals, payment respite or payment plans.
